Dell wireless printer adapter
i would just like to ask for the setup in which you can connect printers using the 3300.. is there any specifications regarding printer compatibility and the adapter? or are all Dell printers in the market able to connect to a computer using this adapter? thanks :smileyvery-happy:

I posted a question regarding the 3300 adapter, but got no response. I would recommend not buying their printers, as from personal experience, have had limited luck using either a 962 or 964 with the 3300 wireless printer adapter.
Their documentation it out of date, and their newer 964 isn't even listed amongst supported products (although I've read elsewhere that it is supported).
To be precise about the issue(s) with the 964/3300 combo, printing has been rock solid, while at the same time, scanning has been very unreliable. The network in question has 5 Dell wireless laptops and 1 Dell desktop. At the height of it working well, I could scan to all laptops, except the desktop. Currently, I can scan to none of them. And for the scary part (not a Halloween trick) - nothing changed. The wireless network is working great, and 3300 shows an "Excellent" signal strength.
There are also issues with their drivers, and you're best to install from the original CD. ie: I downloaded the 962 printer drivers today, but after installing it on 3 systems (to try get them back to the 962 config), I noticed the Dell All-In-One center wasn't installed. I had previously uninstalled the 964 software on 2 laptops, but on the desktop, I had to delete all "AIO " references from the registry in order to reinstall the 962 (with the installation continuing so I could see the printer listed under "Printers and Faxes".
