Postscript printer - PPD file
I'm trying to export a Quark doc to PDF format. It won't go and says: To save a layout as a pdf, a
postscript printer must be set up. (I don't want to print anything, just save it and e-mail it)
My Dell inkjet A940 does not have a postscript driver, BUT halleluya, you can get a free postscript driver from Adobe, BUT the system requirements are
System requirements
- Any printer that includes Adobe PostScript Level 2 or Adobe PostScript 3
- A PostScript Printer Description (PPD) file for your printer
- Any printer that includes Adobe PostScript Level 2 or Adobe PostScript 3
- A PostScript Printer Description (PPD) file for your printer
Usually postscript teks are for laser printers.
I need a PPD on the Dell. I have searched on the Dell site for that, but it doesn't seem to be here.
NOW WHAT anybody know?
