Steve,

Start, control panel, devices and printers, right click on your printer, printer preferences. Make sure it's set to use all available ink. Also click on mmore options and make sure the boxes for complete-a-print are unchecked.

Rick, thanks for suggestions. Should have said my printer is a bit old, but had been great! It's a Dell P513W. Now, I did what you suggested, but did not  locate the box titled "complete-a-print'. Clicked on "Advanced" tag on the "Printer Preferences" dialog box - then I clicked on the "More options" box, but didn't see the "complete-a-print" box to check or uncheck. So far, still getting "problem with printhead" error. Appreciate any other suggestions you can think of! Steve

Steve,

Not sure if I posted this to you in a thread before.

Cleaning the Printhead on Dell AIO V313w, V515w, V715w, P513w, and P713W Printers

Troubleshooting Printhead Problems on the Dell AIO V313w, V515w, V715w, P513w, and P713W Printers

The Printer Does Not Recognize the Ink Cartridge or Only Prints in One Color

And here is a Replacement Printhead (if needed)

To reset any error message the printer is getting, unplug the printer from the wall, then remove the power brick for 60 seconds.
