yes, I cleaned the scanner glass.......................ok stupid questions coming................I didn't think that the scanner used the ink cartridges to actually copy the scanned image or document............am I wrong..................to get the correct color it does use the color and black ink cartirdge to produce the color??????????????
just wanna make sure. when you say that the scanned image is not clear?do you mean that it is faint or there are streaks on the on the scanned image?
so far here's what you can do for now.
try to print a test page
scan the document and then try to print the scanned document. if it prints unclear,go to all in one center, choose see more scan settings, then adjust the copy quality settings.
I used to be able to scan a printed document, save it as an image, and upload it to my web site and it was clear and you could read it. Now even if a do a scan preview the letters in the typed document are not clear. I am using a dell a920 All in one.
I had to reformat my hard drive two weeks ago and add everything in. No problem. Since I have added the printer scanner software it is just not looking good. My main question is how would I scan a typed document, even making sure the preview is good, and save it as what type of file so that I can up load it into my web site and people can read it?
I did try scanning the document to Photo editor and it looked perfect. I tried to save the perfect scan and I thought I had but yet when I went to my web site to add it when it added it you could not read a thing.
