My laser 1600n printer has a permanent LCD message. "unlock scanner". I have the switch on the unlock already. No matter what, this message stays on and doesn't allow me to use the copy, scanner or fax function. It is a new machine too!!!

 

I saw an earlier posting about this, but my problem isn't a matter of flicking the switch to unlock. HELP! (thanks!)
