Alienware mobile connect ios

For some reason, I cannot get my iPhone 12 mini to connect to Alienware mobile connect. The phone pairs to the computer then the software gets stuck on the verifying connection screen. The program also was not able to find the phone using the security code. How should I go about fixing it?

Hi @wrxrallying2015  welcome to this user to user discussion forum. This is not Dell Support.

You did not share your Alienware model or Operating System. Visit notifications to check that this option is present and enabled. Type troubleshooting into search and allow Windows to find and fix this problem. Revist the handshake between both devices and check that secure sharing is enabled between both devices.

I am having this same issue. I am on an Alienware m17 R3, Windows 10 OS Build 19041.867 and iPhone XR running iOS 14.4.2.

I've tried re-establishing the Bluetooth handshake, but that appears to be where it gets stuck. I have gone into troubleshooting in Windows, repaired the Bluetooth utility, and tried again.

This time, the Alienware tool asked me to turn Bluetooth off and on on both the PC and iPhone, and I did so. It connects, but asks me to compare with the PIN on my phone, which never appears.

It then says Verifying Connection... This make take a minute. (And it keeps spinning.) On my phone, the app remains stuck on the 'Welcome to Alienware Mobile Connect' screen with the initial alpha code.

I went back to my phone's Bluetooth settings and tried to ensure that it was connected to my PC, but it fails to do so, saying to ensure that my PC is turned on and in range. It is, and the devices are very close to one another.

Whatever's going on, it looks like the issue is with the Bluetooth handshake, and I've done everything I can find to fix that on Windows 10, iOS, and nothing has helped.
