Alienware Mobile Connect

I am having issues with Alienware Mobile Connect on an Enterprise install of windows 10.  I followed the instructions in another post here (thread 7362741) setting up the registry to identify my computer as a DELL_ALIENWARE and can download Mobile Connect from the windows store.

When I launch it is says "Sorry, but this system does not match the minimum requirements for running Alienware Mobile Connect"

I have an Alienware M15 R2, so I know it is compatible.

The software itself must be using something other than the identifiers in the store to determine it's running on a dell.

Using "wmic computersystem get", manufacture is Alienware, model is Alienware M15 R2.

This appears to be some type of protection system.

How to I tell Windows / this app / dell that my system is indeed a Dell Alienware M15 R2 PC?

Hi there, I had some issues myself on another alienware and my solution was to, reinstall network drivers, then restart then reinstall the app. Try and let me know if this solves your issue :D.

Hi @davidsullivan  it is possible that your m15 R2 model does not support Alienware Mobile Connect. The windows store checks your model and then says "Sorry, but this system does not match the minimum requirements for running Alienware Mobile Connect". Click on the windows store's System requirement tab for the reason why this model does not meet the minimum system requirements.

Did not resolve.

The Windows store is allowing me to download the app -- it is the app itself that is blocking the issue.  This is most likely because the OS installed is an enterprise version of windows and doesn't contain any of the alienware/dell installed OEM information.
