Dell Datasafe Local Backup Basic always starts when USB drive or memory stick inserted
I have a Dell Inspiron 15R with Windows 7 Home edition bought about 4 years ago. When I originally installed it, I made recovery DVD discs (and fortunately have never needed to use). I have never updated to the premium edition of Datasafe, as I use Windows backup. For some reason, just recently, whenever I plug in a USB hard drive or memory stick, Dell Datasafe Local starts with the Drive detection screen, and gives me a warning message that says "Your personal data is overlapping the space allowed for your Full System Backups". It says Full System Backups are assigned to go to the C drive. I don't understand this since I don't believe I have ever updated to the premium edition, & this never used to happen when I plugged in a USB device. How can I stop Datasafe Local Backup Basic stop doing this? In Control Panel/Programs Features, there seem to be 2 program entries, both from when I bought the PC. One says "Dell Datasafe Local Backup - Support Software" Version 2.34, and the other says "Dell Datasafe Local Backup" Version 9.3.74
