Dell Support Center Popup

About every ten minutes I get a popup which says Dell Support Centerhas ceased working and Windows is searching for a cure. Nothing else ever happens.  I would like to get rid of the popup.

Hi Stmc,

Please uninstall the Dell Support Center from the ‘Control Panel’. Here are the steps,

  • Click Start.
  • Click Control Panel.
  • Click Programs.
  • Click Programs and Features.
  • Click ‘Dell Support Center’ highlight it.
  • Click Uninstall/Change.
  • Follow through the prompts in order to remove the software.
  • Restart the computer.

Now download and install ‘Dell Support Center’ from the link http://dell.to/RS19Iy

  • Choose the country
  • Click on ‘Download Now’
  • Save the File
  • Right click and choose ‘Run as Administrator’, install the file
  • Restart the computer

Dell Support Center’s auto update has been pushed with a new interface. It is now called My Dell.

Please reply if you have any questions.
