Hi yohanan200,

Dell Vostro 3550 comes with multiple video cards. You will not be able to know which GPU is active using the ‘Catalyst Control Center’. This feature has not been provided by AMD.

In Muxless hardware design, the switchable graphics will use appropriate video card to assigned application from the catalyst control center and process the graphics of the application and give the output through the Intel’s integrated video card so using any application on windows you will not be able to see the discrete video card.

Therefore, when you are using graphic intense programs, (Example: Playing games, video editing, photo editing) the discrete graphic card turns active.

However, during normal usage, if you are viewing applications like office, power point or word documents the integrated graphic card turns active.

Hey Ravi,

About that i can't see the both of the GPU's that's not true because somehow I sow the both of the GPU's and I sow exactly which GPU was active (that was the AMD radeon 7650, because I disabled the Intel HD graphics. that was on "base on power supply" and when I was disconnect the charger the screen was black). And when i did  restart for the computer the both of the GPU's was disabled.

Other thing when I choose in the CCC to use "HIGH PERFORMANCE" that should activate the AMD no meter what the program is...

Hi yohanan200,

I would suggest you to check if the video card is listed in the BIOS (F2 during startup) main screen.

Also, please reply us with snapshot of the display adapter expanded in device manager.

In addition, I would suggest you to update the BIOS on the system for issue resolution. Please enter your service tag # on the link below, select the OS, then download the BIOS from BIOS section onto the system and install it.

Please let me know if this helps.
