document stopped to be valid
When you working with excel file during some days, after you save it and everything it is ok. But after you opened MS Excel 2013 and you saw: This file is not in a recognizable format. It is my case, and I need help with repair Excel files.

I Googled your issue and found THESE INSTRUCTIONS. I know you have to open Excel without opening the file first to help with recovery. If the file cannot be repaired but can be opened, then I would copy everything from the Excedl file, then paste it to a new Excel file.
