drop box promotion error

Hello

I would like to utilise the drop box promotion for free 30 GB storage.  I followed the instructions but the app had a "side by side configuration error".  I ran the CMD line tool suggested but it didn't come up with anything I understood.  I don't know enough about the application event log to use it.   I uninstalled and reinstalled the app but am still getting the same error.  I did an internet search and apparently I am missing a programming language but I don't know which one or how to get it (or, more to the point, why its missing on a not very old laptop).

I am running Windows 11.

Any ideas?
