Hard drive failed and lost windows 7
My hard drive failed and I lost windows 7 Home Premium, I still have my product key and I'm wondering is there a way I can get it back? I don't want to buy it again but I will if I have to.
I have seen on several forums that you can re-download and burn it to a disk but either they don't say where to get it or its a download I don't trust.

Unfortunately Microsoft have removed all the official download links for Windows 7 on Digital River. Their new Microsoft Software Recovery Tool blocks Dell Windows 7 OEM keys. It is therefore not downloadable.
Microsoft has finally taken our feedback into account however:

They will make Windows 10 TH2 accept Windows 7 and Windows 8.1 keys.
