InstallShield

My software inspector programme (PSI), tells me that installshield is no longer to be updated and should be uninstalled.

I have been told not to delete the files.

I can tick the option in the installshield update manager so that installshield will not automatically check for updates. Or I can use a software utility to delete the registry entries.

I am not sure of the best course of action .

Advice please.

Ps. I get the impression for the update manager that only installshield is set for updating - can't see references to other programmes here, but two registry entries relate to installed programmes?
