about 6 months ago, i posted a question on how to remove the insert date option from the insert drop down. The resolution was some sort of keystroke combo that invoked a "blaster" or 'Blitzer" option. It turned the cursor into a heavy black horizontal bar and when you clicked on an option, it removed it from the menu as well as the accompying alt-+ keystroke command.

Does anyone know about this and can describe the process, as I did not document ti back then and i need to recreate the fix.
