In Word 2007, if you click on the picture itself, Picture Tools and Format will come up on the ribbon at the top, and Text Wrapping is to the right of that. There are options to have the text wrap around the picture. If you use the Tight option, you'll like the Edit Wrap Points to shape the text around a picture that's not quite square. If you do edit the wrap points, you'll want to be sure and go to Send to Back directly above that, and select Send Behind Text.

I know some folks don't like the newest Word, but I lovelovelove their graphics options. It took me awhile to learn them- still learning!- but it's fun to mess with 'em all.

My best advice is to do what I did... make an extra copy of the file you're working on- name it something like "whatever_copy1.doc" and just play with it and see how it looks best. That way if you hate it you still have your original unchanged and unsullied!

    Hope this helps a bit...
