Using the Dell Document Viewer
I recently purchased a Dell XPS 8500 desktop. I have what should be a ridiculously obvious question: How do I use the Dell Document Viewer?
1. I got the impression that the owners manual and specifications of my system would come pre-loaded on my hard drive. This doesn't seem to be the case; at least I haven't been able to find them.
2. When I use the "Dell Document Viewer", it does not list any topics, and search never finds any documents, no matter how broad the search term. For example, it doesn't return any hits for "USB" or "manual".
3. I have gone to the dell.com website and downloaded the owners manual and the specifications document. I can read them, by navigating to them on my hard drive and opening them like any other PDF document. BUT!!!
4. Isn't the Dell Document Viewer supposed to work like a little library where I can find the documentation I"ve downloaded from Dell?
I will greatly appreciate anyone who can enlighten this dullard! Thanks,
