Just purchased a new Dell Inspiron desktop with w8.1.  I want to adjust the audio volume of without getting the Windows sound effect, so I go to the Dell audio icon.  This works well enough, but the DA program takes up sooooo much display real estate.  And I can't seem to resize the window.

Is this the right place to ask this question?  Is there a solution to this preference problem?
