2300 with component video not working
I have a new DELL 2300MP setup in our boardroom and I was hoping to use an AV receiver to handle all of the sources and feed the projector with the Component out from the receiver.
I have purchased and have replaced the Part# P1701Dell Part #: 310-4737 (VGA to Component cable sold as an accessory to the 2300MP) I still get no signal.
The Svid, composite, and RGB from VGA out of a computer are all working fine. I thought
I could use the component out to the VGA in on the projector. Am I wrong?
Why does the 2300 show a component video as an input option while it scans sources if there is none? Is there a way to have the RGB (VGA) port accept the cable I have.
I have tried each of the RGB, YCbCr, and YPbPr signal types without any luck.
Help.

Any ideas?
I have now tried 2 DVD players direct to the 2300MP with no luck.
I have also used the cable to connect between my laptop & home flat panel (DLP) which worked.
Would you agree that there is something wrong with the projector?

I connected the two DVD players using the component video cable unsuccessfully.
The projector works fine using the Svid out from the DVD players.
I can NOT get the component to VGA in to work.

If you bypass the AV receiver and go directly from the source to the 2300MP, does it work?
