Can't turn on 2300MP from remote.
Hi,
This seems to be a problem that other people have had, but I don't see a solution anywhere.
The problem is fairly simple:
We have a 2300MP projector mounted on our ceiling. The remote control will not turn on the projector. We have to bring out a ladder and press the power button for the projector to come on. Once the projector is on the remote control works perfectly, we can even turn the projector off.
We tried most common sense things: remote back and front, new batteries, check the light, reset settings, and so but the problem remains.
I'd appreciate any help.

Solution
I called and got them to replace the remote. I tried out the new remote, but the problem remained. I then removed the USB cable from the back of the projector and the remote worked. I plugged the USB back in and the remote continued to work.
A simple solution. Unless you mount the projector on a high ceiling....
