- I would not get a really small unit. Smaller units tend to heat up quicker and may automatically shut down due to too much heat, as a safety precaution against bulb issues and melting plastic/electronic parts, etc. I have run into this auto lamp shut down due to heat problem a couple times with the Dell 3400MP model, which is really small. 8 hours a day is too much for that unit to handle on a consistent basis.
- You also may want to look at replacement bulb costs if you are using a projector that heavily.
