I am hard of hearing and was wondering if the 2300MP projector could display CC. I am currently using the component to VGA cable with my DVD player. I would like to view TV through my projector as well using my VCR as a tuner. Do I need to use composite (RCA) connections to view captions? Thanks for any help.

    I'd think if your tuner (VCR in this case) can display CC, then the projector will display it. Interesting: I've only seen televisions that support CC, but never noticed a VCR that does it.
