Gnotgrass,

Working this.

This is not isolated to a particular projector. I am having the same problem with a variety of projectors and a Lattitude D600. No matter what projector I use once the output is either redirected or split to the external VGA port, MS Project 2003 dumps whenever you try to start it up, or if you start it and change it afterwards it dumps when you try to do anything. When it is going to the LCD screen only it has no problem and I do not have to reinstall Project 2003. Bizarre. BIOS version on this machine is A14 though I started out with A11 with the same problem. Any help on this is greatly appreciated.

Try downloading the current video driver from Dell support. The one that came on the CD for the D600 is apparently wonky, but the current one fixed it.

All,

You must download the latest Office updates from Microsoft to correct the Microsoft Project issue.

We have downloaded all office updates but still have the same problem. As soon as we get the video driver updates installed we will se if that fixes the problem.

Thistledown, Gnotgrass,

What operating system is running on your Latitudes?

I am running XP SP2. All updates for Office 2003 and XP are current but neither fixed the problem. I fixed it with the most recent ATI video driver on the Dell support site.
