Can't update firmware PE R730

Normally this is seen when the iDrac with LCC version is old, and due to changes on the site, it doen't know where to find the update catalog. The catalog file was moved from the root of ftp.dell.com to ftp.dell.com/catalog/, so you can try specifying that location instead of ftp.dell.com. You can also try downloads.dell.com/catalog/ it should work as well. Since the iDrac is up to date though it should be working. Try the site alternatives I provided and let me know what you see.

I cannot set ftp.dell.com/catalog/ in the Address field of the FTP server settings. I have to leave it as ftp.dell.com and then add /catalog to the catalog setting. Same result.

I tried downloads.dell.com/catalog it doesn't connect properly.

Try the ftp.dell.com or downloads.dell.com again, it was experiencing intermittent outages. You can also use the <ADMIN NOTE: Broken link has been removed from this post by Dell> to update as well 

ftp.dell.com still fails and the ISO media fails as well, as stated in the first post.

Are you seeing any additional error, or different with the ISO? Also are you trying this remotely or locally, is there a difference when you try the other?

I don't see any additional errors except for the ones posted originally. Same result using iDRAC or local console.

I remember with the R320, I can boot to the SUU ISO and it will do the updates outside of iDRAC. It doesn't see like it is possible to do that with the R730? When I burn the SUU to a USB with Rufus, it fails and I don't have a CD large enough to hold it.

 Is there a better way to put the SUU ISO on a USB?

Same problem here. PowerEdge T430, ftp.dell.com set as address. The catalog is correctly downloaded and a list of possible updates appears (BIOS, NIC firmware, iDrac firmware...).

But when I ask to upgrade, error SUP0531 appears and none of the components can be upgraded.

As you can see, the FTP download fails because my T430 LifeCycle controller tries to change directory to /downloads.dell.com, but that directory is not available on the Dell's ftp server.

Same problem here: upgrading a PowerEdge T430 via ftp.dell.com only gives me a list of packages to upgrade, but when I ask to upgrade, error SUP0531 appears.

As you can see, my T430 LifeCycle controller is trying to access the directory /downloads.dell.com, but it does not exist.

Dell !!!

This was working perfectly in December 2018, and now I try to use the same update utility during our maintenance windows, and it fails.

The Catalog works, it finds the drivers that require updating, however when requesting the download, it fails. 

Please may I ask you guys to get this working again.

I got an error while upgrading the DELL R720 server which is for my home Lab server, unsure if this is because the service tag is expired or the server license is expired from enterprise.
