Convert Software Raid to Hardware RAID

I have three R250 that I am setting up. I have purchased (3) PERC H345 cards for RAID 10. Currently I have been unable to locate a cable to connect them. It will be 1 to 2 months before they will be available. Meanwhile I am looking at using the PERC S150 in RAID 10. Question: Will I be able to move the drives to the PERC H345 card once the cables are installed without having to rebuild the RAID 10 array. These will be holding VMs for my SQL and DC roles. I have ordered BOSS-1 controllers that will be here before the end of the week that will host the Hypervisor.

Can you let me know which backplane you have on the server? Is it cabled or hotplug with backplane. You can refer below link for more details

If you have backplane then you can use cable with part# 61F98 for connecting H345. If you have cabled hard drive then you need to have cable with part# 38NC4

RAID is not compatible between S150 and H345. Hence you cannot move move RAID from S150 to H345 without rebuilding. You need to take a backup of data from S150 then recreate Raid 10 with H345 and copy the data back to the new virtual disk.

They were configured with a Hot Plug BP.

Then you need cable with part# 61F98 to connect Backplane to the controller
