Dell poweredge R730 missing advanced ecc option in bios

Hello,

I have two dell servers, I have put 128gb with 8 16gb dimm in all "white" ram slots.

I supposed now I can activate "advanced ecc" ram option in bios.

But I do not see it in the bios options.

How can I do?

Thanks,

Mario

Hi, thanks for choosing Dell. Please refer to the link below.

On the System BIOS screen, click Memory Settings. (page 50)

    Thanks for info.

Infact in my case only "optimizer mode" appears in bios options.

Why? I need "advanced ecc" mode.

    Thanks,

    Mario

    Hello

you have to populate this slots:

    A1, A2, A3, A4, A5, A6, A7, A8

so half white and half black.

    Not all white slots.

    Thanks

    Marco
