We have a customer who purchased three XC770 servers, each configured with NVIDIA L40S GPU cards. The customer now wants to add additional NVIDIA L40S GPU cards to these servers.
Could you please help confirm the required parts that should be ordered, including:
The NVIDIA L40S GPU card part number
The required power cable connecting the GPU to the motherboard/system board
Any other required accessories or kits
Also, please confirm that the suggested part numbers are available and valid in the configurator for this server model.
Please note that we are not able to provide direct configuration support or recommend specific standalone GPU components. In Dell PowerEdge environments, GPU power cables are not universal parts; they depend on the exact system configuration, including the server model, riser layout, PSU type, and GPU installation design.
For this reason, we recommend proceeding with a GPU enablement kit or a GPU cable kit that is specifically validated for the target PowerEdge system and GPU configuration. This ensures full compatibility and adherence to supported configurations.

Hi @Ahmed Okasha, I'm also looking to upgrade the GPU on my R770 server, but I can't find the part number for the riser, power cable, and fan. Can you please send me the server's service tag information with the existing L40S card configuration? I'd like to check the riser part on your server Thank a lot!
