How to identify dell emc server memory
I have a Dell R750 server with 32GB memory but I don't see the Dell label or logo on this memory, so I want to ask how to know if this memory is genuine from Dell.
Thanks you

Hi,
sure it's not uncommon for servers to have memory upgrades or replacements, and these may not always be from the original equipment manufacturer (OEM). Here are some steps you can take to verify if the memory installed in your Dell R750 server is genuine Dell EMC memory:
Check System Information:
Log in to the operating system on your Dell server.
Use system information tools to check the details of installed memory modules.
On Windows, you can use the "System Information" tool. Look for information about the memory manufacturer and part number.
Use Dell SupportAssist:
Dell provides a tool called SupportAssist that can help you gather information about your system, including details about memory.
Download and install Dell SupportAssist if you don't have it already.
Run the tool and look for information related to memory modules.
Check BIOS/UEFI:
Restart your server and enter the BIOS/UEFI setup.
Navigate to the system information section.
Look for details about installed memory modules. Genuine Dell EMC memory often has specific part numbers that can be cross-referenced with Dell's documentation.
Physical Inspection:
Genuine Dell EMC memory modules usually have Dell logos and labels on the physical modules.
Inspect the memory modules for any Dell branding or labels. These labels typically include the Dell logo, part number, and other details.
Use Dell Online Resources:
Visit the Dell support website and use their online tools to enter the service tag or express service code of your server. This should provide detailed information about the original configuration, including memory details.
