iDRAC cannot be updated
Hey,
We're having multiple R650 and R660 servers where we want to do an iDRAC update. In general it's a simple procedure - via OME or directly in iDRAC.
About ten servers seem to get stuck in their current version v7.20.60.50. We tried to apply newer an older update packages, nothing changes. Even more curious, log entries are actually showing a successful upgrade:
> The iDRAC firmware updated successfully. Previous version: 7.20.60.50, Current version: 7.20.80.50
or
> The iDRAC firmware updated successfully. Previous version: 7.20.60.50, Current version: 7.30.10.50
Any ideas?

I assume your R660 would still be in warranty- have you tried raising an official ticket for this issue? You might need a remote session with the support.
