Problem updating bios on multiple PowerEdge R620 IDRAC
Hi,
I seem to have a reoccurring issue of failed bios update on several R620 servers. I have tried every version of the bios updates, the following error always occurs around 40% progression of the installation:
From lifecycle log:
The servers affected are all updated to the newest version of IDRAC, but their bios versions are pretty old.
Has anyone any clue as to why this error keeps happening, and have some tips to solve this issue?
Thanks in advance!

Stansn,
The issue is due to updating out of order, when you update the server you need to start with the BIOS then the iDrac. Would you clarify the current version of the BIOS and iDrac, as well as what version the iDrac was prior to updating? What you may look at doing is trying to backflash the iDrac to the previous version you were at, then once there walk the BIOS and iDrac up, as jumping to the latest version from a really old one can actually damage the motherboard. So you would want to run the BIOS update, then the iDrac one, then repeat only skipping a couple update versions at a time.
Let me know.
