server r710 booted in a emergency mode
Hi guys,
I have a question, after replacing raid controller, and before we lost our configuration, so i made a import to the foreign configuration after replacing, we though that is disk failure but the rebuild of the disk started after replacing raid controller.
Why the server booted in emergency mode after rebuild the disk and VD?

Hello
If your storage controller failed then there may have been cached data that was lost. That may have caused data corruption. A faulty storage controller or sudden failure may cause data loss or corruption.
If your operating system is booting to safe mode/emergency mode then you should perform OS repair.

Hello,
I would like to ask also, we did some recovery from the srv OS, we used the fsck command, but the problem is in the hardware of the server, i also replaced the disk that was showing some problems.
But after this things, replacing the raid controller the disk and the recovery procedure, the VD(Raid10) is still in degraded mode, and when i open the PD i see that the new disk is ready, but in VD is showing missing.
Can you please help us with this problem.
