upgrade my old R610 server.

The issue you are seeing is due to the 11th generation of servers, such as yours, having been removed from the online update catalog file on the ftp. For 11th generation and older you would need to do the offline update procedure documented here.

After following your link , to create a booteable iso I toke a look to repository list but R610 is not listed so I suppose I will need to create iso by mi self using DRM  (please confirm).

After download , install and view proposed videos , can not continue creating iso, since R610 is not listed on DRM ver 3.3 platform neither. (take a look to image).

so ... I dont know how to continue.
Please let me know how to proper config DRM to get R610 platform available.
Other:
After looking creating iso video tutorial , there is stage where you should select OS (windows , linux, and so).
It is not clear for me why do I need to choose OS since im trying to upgrade DELL hardware drivers.
In my case , im preparing box to run some virtual platform (proxmox or vmware).

Download OMSA Live, found here. You will also need Server Update Utility (SUU). What you will do is boot to OMSA Live and then run SUU from there.

I tryed booting from the iso you provided but could not succed using ruffus and fedora live creator, take a look to screens:

I succeded booting from SLI22 (centos 7 platform)
Is it possible to run SUU from there ? currently im downloading Suu.iso (9gb).
should I burn iso file into usb (using ruffus or similar) or should I just copy iso file into usb ?

How to proceed from SLI22 to run SUU ?

Take the SUU ISO you downloaded and then
Start up the server and press F11 to enter the LifeCycle Controller menu.
Click the "Platform Update" menu.
Select the "Local Drive (CD/DVD/USB)" in the Update Repository source.
Enter the "Package Path," and run the Updates.

Hi guys, after downloading and burning iso file into usb , can not boot it.
I used rufus to burn it but got following message

Please , provide detailed steps about this process, recommended software to burn it , settings, and so on.

At the path field I set "\repository" as mentioned in this video:

System yield: 
"No update is available ...."

Maybe I need to be more specific at package path:
I can see the:
R610_BIOS_C6MRW_LN_6.4.0.BIN inside repository folder.
Also saw inside catalog.xml , some lines containing "R610" string.

Other:
In case can not read SUU from lifecycle controller, 
Can can I install a provisory OS on the server just to run the SUU launcher ? 
So I need to install an specific OS version to run it ? Linux distro ?

It may be easier to do from the OS. If you prefer Linux the server supports RHEL 4 through 7, or Server 2003 to Server 2012.

Tryed 3 methods:
Redhat 7 and centos 7:
Same result, autostart dont work , and manually running ./suu is not possible.
First , it is not excutable binary , can not chmod +x neither run it even with root user.
If you can provide specific steps for this would be great.

I dont know what else to try.
Booting from windows server 2008: 
My server can not boot uefi usb. (this works ok in other pc).

Can you suggest something else ?

Using SSU, I have having following "Update Failure:  Partition Failure - Attached Partition has failed"

The image you attached did not come through. Could you repost it?

I can recommend try a flea power drain then retry the update process you are running.

drain flea power (shut down, disconnect power cables and Network cables, hold in power button 20 seconds with cords removed).  After flea power drain, system has to set for 3 minutes for DRAC to reset without any power plugged in, then plug in NIC and power but wait 2 minutes before power on to give DRAC time to initialize.

If it does not help try this next: LifeCycle repair.

Log into the DRAC and provide the .usc file for the LifeCycle repair.
