Windows Server 2012 get blue screen after boot DSRM
I have Dell Power Edge R610 in my office. Yesterday i tried to open my server manager and it took so long to respond. After that, I restarted the server and now the server boot and the just give me blank screen. This server is a domain controller. I tried to boot into Directory Service Restore Mode but it gave me blue screen for a second and then restart. I had backup the server before this on another server, when I tried to restore it do not detect the image of the backup.
I tried to installed new Windows Server 2012 on another hard disk and mount on this server. I tried to recover from the windows server backup. The backup is appeared, I choose volume backup and then choose the backup destination. After I click recover it gave me this pop-up
Hi, thanks for choosing Dell. I reckon this is solely on the OS, but as you might be aware Windows Server 2012 is not supported any longer. Sorry I can’t be of help this time.
