Please advise if we can set different admin user passwrod against each vRPA ( XXX for source vRPA and YYY for target vRPA )
Do they have to be same password ? KB ( 520937 : RecoverPoint and RecoverPoint for Virtual Machines: How to change the default root password in RecoverPoint product family systems https://support.emc.com/kb/520937 )
seems it does not matter if I can set different one ..
The admin user is configured on a per system level. Once it changes, it propagated to all RPAs across al clusters, the root password would be synced with that admin password across all RPAs in the system starting from RPVM 5.1.1.4 and RP 5.1.2, this would be done upon change of the admin password.
thanks you so much for the reply .. now understand that seperate admin password for source vRPA and target vRPA cannot be set . It has to be the same !

When you set the root password on an RPA this should be distributed across all RPAs in the cluster.
