Hello HakanT,

Here is the link to the administrator guide and if you look at Chapter 4 it explains about the different options in testing recovery.  https://dell.to/3lgotjq

Hi Sam,

Thank you for response but my plan is different than this scenario. I don't need replication of that CG. Therefore ı want to use target of replication sets,in addition this, The volumes at target side should be consistent.

My plan is I want ot test of consistence and beside to be remove CG to use target volumes. While I remove CG, how can I sure target volume consistent?

Hello HakanT,

When you remove volume for the consistent group it will have the last changes written.  You will need to resync the data after you add it back to the group. https://dell.to/3564YEx

Hi there,

Removing a CG while in image access would for sure keep the replica volumes in a consistent state. Each PiT is consistent and test copy/image access gets the replica volumes to a consistent state but if you need to remove the CG then know that the replica volumes (or VMDKs in the case of RP4VMs) are consistent.

Hope that helps,

Idan
