Recoverpoint Disk needs
Is there a "best practice" for configuring disks as RPA journals? I am going to dedicate some spindles to RPA and would like to get as close to by-the-book as possible. Am I better to do a a 4+1 R5, 8+1 R5, , 2x 4+1 R5, etc?

Hello,
Thank you for contacting EMC.
EMC Recommend FC drives and no SATA disks for Recoverpoint Journal and you can use SAS if it is VNX. The above listed configuration are supported for Journal and depending upon the application IOPS you can choose among them.
Note: Please do not use Flash drives for Recoverpoint Configuration.
