Recoverpoint for VMs 4.3 Install Issues
I am attempting to deploy Recoverpoint for VMs(4.3c.112) for evaluation to see if I want to purchase this to replace SRM. I am using the latest Deployment Wizard.
I get to step 14.1 , Storage Configuration.
I give it my vCenter ip address, administrator@vsphere.local username and password.
on Recoverpoint administrator credentials - it defaults to the admin user account. I tried to ssh with admin/admin and it doesn't work. So I am using boxmgmt/boxmgmt which will ssh into the box.
Then on 14.2
I can see my datastore, It has over 700 GB free for the repository. Being I am just trying a VM or two, I think it should be big enough.
I then click next, and I watch the virtcenter, reconfigure the vRPA, suspend and resume the VM, while it is configuring the RPA cluster repository on the selected datastore. It then attempts to configures the respository volume and it errors out. Saying Failed to configure to repository volume. Contact EMC for assistance.
It did make RPvStorage folder in the VMFS Store and the 6 gig VMDK file.
I did trying increase the timeout for VMs from 120 to 360 and it didn't fix help.
Here's the tail end of the log.
Any thoughts on what isn't working?
