Recoverpoint login attempt failure notification
How can I trigger a notification for failed login attempts to our RPs for both GUI and CLI? I don't see an system event being created for failed logins.
we just need an email notification sent when a user login fails. Is there a way to do that? We are on RP/EX , version 4.1.2.
Thanks
-Daniel

You should see event 1001 for failed login attempts.

Rich,
Under system events, I see event 1000 for successful logins but not the event for failed logins. Does it normally show up at the same place or somewhere else?
Thanks
-Daniel

It should appear beside the successful logins. What is your version of RP?

That is what I expected to see it too. We are on ver. 4.1.2.
I opened an SR and it seems they have reproduced the issue in their lab.
Thank you Rich.

Rich,
Support has confirmed that this is a bug and the engineering team is aware of it.
Thanks

Hi Daniel,
This is indeed a known issue, if you haven't gotten it already, support can supply a signed script which would print the unsuccessful logins, as a workaround.
