Replication Manager Target Devices as SRDF Source (R1)
Hi All,
We have a requirement to repliacte VMAX LUN's from site-A to site-B using Recoverpoint and then the replicate Recoverpoint target LUN's from site-B to site-C using SRDF. Can this be a possible setup ?
1) Can Recoverpoint tagged devices be SRDF source (R1) ? From the EMC splitter guide:
"Tagged Devices cannot be replicated by SRDF and cannot be a target of a Timefinder Operations."
2) Recoverpoint target devices will be in Not Ready state when replication is active. Can SRDF R1 be a Not Ready Device ?

I have not seen a response to this entry yet, but I did have a question for you:
The title mentions Replication Manager...but the text of the postings says Recoverpoint for site-a to site-b and then SRDF from site-b to site-c...I don't have enough RP or SRDF knowledge to be usefull, and there doesn't seem to be any Replication Manager questions for me to attempt to help with.
I assume your question is directed more to the SRDF folks...and to a lesser extent to the RP folks as well...right?
