Autostart+Replistor
hello,
I have a plan to implement Autostart and replistor
There are two sites 1000 km apart
Oracle 10g Database and offline redo log file size is around 700MB,
I plan to replicate the offline redo log files to the remote site were we will have the standby DB.
Have the logs applied automatically as it comes.
Also all the oracle services and managed virtual IP will be in the Resource group in Autostart.
In the event of a crash at production, autostart will issue notification and we will take a decision wether to failover based on the status of the latest offline redo log applied at remote site.
Once we decide to failover, we will failover the resource group in autostart.
Please note here we will not add Oracle module, however we will gave Replistor datasource configured in Autostart.
The primery and DR servers have internal storage only.
-----Do you think this is a valid configuration------

Hi,
Is the environment that you want to constitute a street of the figure?

Yes it does, however there is only one server at each site.

Hi,
Perhaps, virtual IP cannot be used.
Is not a segment different in each site used?
It is easier to compose the cluster of RepliStor.
