Breaking SRDF links
Hi there I need to physicaly break my SRDF links will it be sufficient to suspend the R1 and R2 device groups .

what are you trying to do ? If you want R2 to be read/write enabled you will need to split SRDF, if you simply want to stop replication you can suspend SRDF

Thanks I just need to power down my Ficon directors and had an issue with the SRDF last week so I am super nervous about doing it . Thanks this answered my question .
