Change Data Source for Shared Storage

I am running MS Exchnage 2003 on AutoStart using the shared storage provided by EMC Clariion. OS is Windows 2003 SP1, Exchnage 2003 SP1 & Autostart 5.3.

I was given two different LUNs for data files and log files. These are the Data Sources for my AutoStart configuration. By mistake, the exchange administrator created two partitions on the same LUN and has installed Exchange data on one partition and Exchange log files on another. EMC RM is not working for Exchange now.

I have the LUNs available and to make RM function proerply I have to use them for my data & logs. In summary, I have to move data from one partition to one LUN & logs from other partition to another LUN.

How do you think I should go about this? Should I follow the following steps:

1. Add the new two LUNs as Data Source in the RG.
2. Bring RG offline.
3. Stop & disable AutoStart.
4. Copy data from partitions to LUNs.
5. Reconfigure Exchange to use these LUNs for data and logs.
6. Start AutoStart.
7. Bring RG online.
8. Remove the partitions from RG.

Please suggest.
