Good Day pradeepgowda

In short termsn or should I say Lazy man terms.

Vplex and recoverpoint are two different technologies which could be Combined to offer you the benefit of both.

RecoverPoint is a continuous data protection solution  which supports asynchronous and synchronous data replication of block-based storage with the benefit of Journaling which offers point in time Recoveries.

Vplex However is also a Replication technology which doesn't  give you the benefit of point in time recoveries and instead offers you with its own set of Benefits as seen below

  • .Data Mobility
  • Continuous Availability
  • Stretch Clusters Support (Active/Active solution Between Data Centres)

These Two Technologies can be combined to Offer you all of the benefits of Both Recoverpoint and Vplex altogether.

As Per Christoper's Post he has Provided You with some helpful Links which will Give you some more Input on this topic and will give you a better Overview of these solutions.

Kind Regards

Michael.
