Error 25213. Installation of Virtual Account Failed! 1057
Hi All,
I have another problem... This one is during the installation of RepliStor Exchange Module 2.1.2 with RepliStor 6.2 SP4. The below message is encountered during the installation:
Warning 25012.Internal Error: 985 $Revision: 1.73 $
Failed to install EmcMgr service locally 1057 - The account name is invalid or does not exist, or the password is invalid for the account name specified.
esg83185 on PowerLink says RepliStor Exchange Module v2.0.0.13 and above should fix this, but the customer is using 2.1.2 (latest).
The customer is adamant they are using the correct username, password and domain credentials.
Any thoughts?

If so, you need to remove all EmcMgr references from the registry so the service is removed from Windows.
An update version of the module (RepliStorExchange.2.1.SP3.HF3) will also gracefully clean this up after a roll-back installation failure. Then install will then proceed on the next attempt.
