Is it possible for me to retain all RM configuration when I move the RM server from one server to another? Or do I need to perform all configuration all again? Please advise. Thanks
yes, you should retain all RM configurations when you move your RM Server from one machine to another. As an EMC employee, you should check out the following KB article:
primus emc218841 / Sales Force article 12268
I beleive that article was writen for RM 5.4.x and before, and there are modified steps that are needed for RM 5.5.x . I have requested a review of that article, since I think additional updates may be needed. Let me know if you need info on migrating an RM 5.5.x Server.
