Replistor 6.2 with Windows 2000 (2 servers)
Hi everyone,
Forgive my newness, but I'm having great difficulty figuring out how to get Replistor to work properly on two test servers I have set up in our internal network. I've installed Replistor on both servers independently (testserver1, testserver2), and I tried setting up a File/Directory specification to copy a single directory from testserver1 to testserver2 via mirroring.
It will not work, and the process keeps pausing itself. I uncheck "pause" to start it up again, but it just pauses again, and nothing is copied.
Help! I have administrative access on both machines as far as I know.

Or do you mean Pause Updates keeps getting enabled via RepliStor?

Updating is only a function of the Target so if you are seeing these messages on the Source it may not be the cause here.
It may be normal not to see any traffic during an Inc Sync. An Inc Sync will only send over changes in the files and will only compare the Target with the Source files. If you run a Full Sync (Uncheck Inc) then you should see the traffic you are looking for.
After the Sync is completed, real-time replication (Mirroring) will be ocurring.

Initialized 6.2.1.3
I will try logging in with a domain admin account instead of a machine admin...
If it does not work, I will post again.

Are there any Warning messages in the RS GUI?
If there are Blocked Files, RS will write the files to a Block.rdf b/c it cannot access the Target's destination disk.
You may have to start the RepliStor Server service using a Domain Administrator account.
NOTE: Leave the RepliStor Control service @ Local System.

I go to the secondary server, and nothing has been copied over.

It's only one file, so it shouldn't take long to move it over, but it isn't doing anything. The file never shows up on the secondary server (mdb file in C:\MyApps\)
I made sure it was on the right domain, and entered in the appropriate IP for both servers, as well as the correct administrative login. Then I created the definition that would just move everything from server 1 C:\MyApps\ to server 2 C:\MyApps, but I can't seem to get it to work.
