BAKMAR,

Using the RepliStor (RS) GUI you can highlight (select) the server name you wish to delete, press the right mouse button and select Delete from the list of actions. However, there are a couple of things that could prevent you from removing the server’s name from the list. So, first check all the current Specifications to make sure the server name you wish to remove is not listed as a Source or a Target in any Specifications. Secondly make sure the servers name you wish to remove is not shown in the GUI in the middle window tab listing. (Please note the screen capture below in which I have added a red circle around a server name in the RepliStor GUI.)

Just close the Tab in the window before attempting to delete that server’s name from the list on the left.

This Forum may not allow showing screen capture graphics so it you have any questions regarding the second condition shown above please reply to the Forum with your email address and I would be happy to send you the screen capture separately.

Finally, if you initially added the RepliStor nodes into the Windows Active Directory make sure you perform the above from a node which has good access to the Active Directory Domain Controller. Deleting the node from the RepliStor GUI should also remove it from the Active Directory. However you may want to cross check this using the ADSIEdit.exe utility.
