Replistor with MSCS

Hi

I tried to install Replistor in Microsoft Cluster Win2k3 but I had problems with the failover.

The MSCS only is File sharing. After of the install of the replistor I tried to do the failover between the nodes and simply the cluster left to responding. I had to do a hard reboot (both nodes) . I hadnt any copy o process running, simply was after of the install.

Any comments?

Is there any document with tips o steps with more details to the install of replistor in the MSCS 2003?

Thank you.

Yes, same thing happened to me in the past. The problem was tracked back to the conflict between the Replistor and McAfee on-access scanner filter drivers. After applying the updated filter driver provided by McAfee support everything was back to normal.
Maybe you have the same setup, but even if you don't, pay attention to the other filter drivers that may be running on the system.
As far as the configuration goes, there is not much to it, the install guide should be enough to get you started.

Before doing your failover in the cluster, ensure that there are no Sync's occurring between the Source and Target. If there is, this may cause the cluadmin GUI to appear to be hung. If you upgrade to RepliStor 6.2, this issue is resolved.
