Reporting options

Hello

We are running replistor 6.2 SP4. I would like to know if its possible to run any reports (or a command) to display when a specification sychronisation or throttling is scheduled to run. At the moment I have been going into individual specifications and checking from the synch options, but this is a time consuming task on 50+ specifications!

Many Thanks

You may use the rep_srv command specexport, which will export the configuration of all the specifications in the file, which you can then query for the throttling info for each one of them. I think this should do the trick, can't test it right now.

Hi, thanks for the quick reply. I'll have a look into this. It sounds like it will do the job. Thanks again. I'll award points when I've had a chance to experiment if that's OK.

Hi, I have tried playing but it does not appear to produce anything that works with my specification (only a single line with lots of 0's in. Do you have any examples of the command I could try or another command that may work?

Many Thanks

isoprh,

I'd recommend using PerfMon from Windows. You can add the default RepliStor counters via "Help" -> "Performance" from the RepliStor Client. This will open a new window with the performance counters and you can save this information as part of PerfMon.

Cheers!

Hi Joel

Thanks for the reply, the information such as bytes received and sent are useful. But I was wondering if there was a way to produce some output that show a specification and shows whether it's scheduled to sychronize / throttle. (I rebooted our server today and noticed that the spec had a clock icon on it, never noticed this before so that is helpful).

Thanks
