NOTE : You will need to install the x64 bit version of solutions enabler with Windows 2008 64bit.

The RM server needs to be at the same or higher lever as the clients. You cannot have a client running a later version than the server, the server will be unable to communicate with the client in this scenario.

Currently we are running RM server with 5.2.0 and Production host with Windows 2003 with Exchange 2003 and some of them with Oracle and SQL database.
Recently we added Windows 2008 R2 64 bit server and looking forward to configure it under ERM.
While installing RM Client 5.2.0 recieved below error.
Popup windows saying ServiceAddServer failed:IRCCD
IRWINSTARTUP does not exist on this system
We installed RM patch 5.2.4 which went good,However when configuring Application set and creating job i am not able to view Mount host.may be due to it is running old version of RM client on it.
Question i have here ,
1.Do i need to upgrade my RM server to 5.2.4 to make it compatible for Windows 2008 .
2. If yes,Do i need to upgrade RM client for all Production host and Mount Host,
3. DO i need to upgrade SE to 7 for all Host.
4. Also what are the other changes i need to do .
Kindly suggest .
